Position Title: Islamic Studies Teacher – Full-time / Occasional
Reports to: Principal

Teacher Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development and Delivery
- Design and deliver comprehensive Islamic Studies curriculum for students from JK to Grade 8.
- Integrate Islamic teachings, values, and practices into daily lessons and activities.
- Student Assessment and Support
- Assess student understanding of Islamic concepts and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Cultivate a respectful and inclusive classroom environment where students learn Islamic principles.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with colleagues to incorporate Islamic teachings across the curriculum.
- Maintain regular communication with parents to discuss student progress and address concerns.
- Professional Development and Engagement
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance Islamic teaching skills and knowledge.
- Supervise Islamic Studies-related extracurricular activities or events.
- Islamic Ethos and Role Modeling
- Serve as a role model by embodying Islamic values and principles in conduct and demeanor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Religious Studies, or a related field.
- Teaching certification recognized by relevant educational authorities.
- In-depth knowledge of Islamic teachings, jurisprudence, and ethics.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in Islamic education.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to personal and professional growth in accordance with Islamic principles.
