
At Marifah School, we are pleased to offer a Sunday Islamic School program designed to provide young Muslims with a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge, character, and values — all in a structured, engaging, and age-appropriate learning environment.
Whether your child attends public school or full-time Islamic school, our Sunday program complements their upbringing by reinforcing their identity as confident Muslim youth rooted in Deen.
What We Teach
Our curriculum is designed to inspire love for Islam while building practical understanding of religious teachings. We follow a structured plan that includes:
Quran Reading and Memorization
Focus on Tajweed (pronunciation)
Memorization of selected Surahs and daily Duas
Understanding the meanings and context where appropriate
Islamic Studies
Beliefs: Aqidah, Prophets, Angels, the Hereafter
Worship: Salah, Wudu, Zakat, Ramadan, Hajj
Manners and Etiquette: Respect, honesty, kindness, dealing with parents and elders
Stories from the Seerah (life of the Prophet ﷺ) and lessons from the lives of Sahabah
Basic Arabic Literacy
Recognition of Arabic letters
Building vocabulary for understanding Quran and daily duas
Islamic Character Development (Tarbiyah)
Weekly themes focusing on Islamic values
Group discussions and role-playing activities
Encouragement of reflection and practical application in everyday life
Who Can Join?
The program is open to:
Boys and Girls aged 5+
All levels welcome – we assess each child’s level and place them accordingly
Students are grouped by age and ability to ensure effective learning

Our Faith-Based Environment
Marifah School follows the teachings of Sunni Islam, rooted in the Quran and authentic Sunnah. We are open to children from all backgrounds. As long as families are comfortable with the Sunni approach to Islamic teaching, we welcome their participation with warmth and respect.
