Established in 2023 as a not-for-profit organization, Marifah School is proudly registered with the Ontario Ministry of Education (MoE) as a private school. Located in the heart of Stittsville, we are committed to serving the diverse and vibrant Muslim communities of Stittsville, Kanata, Nepean, and surrounding areas.
At Marifah School, we believe that education is a journey that nurtures the mind, heart, and soul. Our holistic curriculum is thoughtfully designed to balance academic excellence with spiritual growth. In addition to meeting the rigorous standards of the Ministry of Education, we offer an enriched program that includes Quranic studies, Islamic education, Arabic, and French. At Marifah School, we are committed to nurturing students in an environment grounded in the teachings of Sunni Islam (Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamā‘ah). We uphold the pure Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) and follow the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, as understood and practiced by the Salaf al-Saliheen.
Our approach is rooted in clarity, moderation, and mercy. We aim to instill in our students a sincere love for the truth, drawing from the Qur’an and Sunnah, guided by the understanding of the rightly guided scholars of the past.
We place great importance on cultivating reverence for the noble companions of the Prophet ﷺ — especially the Rightly Guided Caliphs: Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them all) — whose lives exemplify justice, leadership, and devotion.
Our educators are dedicated to delivering sound Islamic knowledge and supporting students in applying it with understanding, integrity, and character — both in their worship and in their daily lives.
